We review the contents of a current residence and develop a plan to ‘rightsize’ for the new residence, including space planning.
SORTING
We categorize: consign/sell, store, donate, and/or dispose. We can create a comprehensive inventory including photographs, measurements and physical location.
MANAGING
We project manage the move, executed with our trusted moving partners. We pack thoughtfully and carefully, and unpack efficiently. We plan and set up storage units as needed.
MONETIZING
We work with you in the privacy of your home to identify liquifiable assets including jewelry, coins, gold and silver. Found assets is a discreet and fast service.

Recognizing that each situation is unique, we help assess what needs to happen to meet goals and timelines, whether imminent or a longer-term plan. We understand that there are many moving parts, and we are here to organize and streamline the process.
We offer à la carte services, organizing smaller spaces including garages, basements, garden sheds, storage units and attics.
About Alison and Barbara
Alison and Barbara first met when their children were in the same kindergarten class over 20 years ago. Recognizing their shared values, they bonded over family dinners and dog walks. With Alison’s experience in high-end retail, and Barbara’s background in international advertising, they share the same commitment to the highest level of client service and the most efficient project planning and execution. After a number of years of working together as freelance Professional Organizers, they expanded, enhanced and formalized their business as ‘Useful Spaces LLC’.
